Represent your Degrees, Diplomas, and Certifications with concentrations and majors starting with High School.

Mine:

* High School Diploma - 2004

* Diploma for Pharmaceutical Technician - 2009 (former technician)

* Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts - 2010

* Bachelor's Degree in Administration of Justice - 2014
(former Corrections Officer)

Currently going for:

* Master's of Justice - Started 2015 (withdrew for massage therapy)

* Diploma in Therapeutic Massage - 2016 (Currently Massage Therapist)

Message for those working on your schooling:

To the ones working on your degrees and feeling burned out: I was there and feeling burned out and it'll have for you. The biggest lesson in it is being patient with yourself and letting each day of the adventure play out. You will be that much better in time management after everything is done.

You may not always get the job you went to school for, but take the decent one and run with it and keep working on the experience for the resume.

Good luck & Blessings...

2015-12-15 04:51:25

That's the thing! I don't know...primarily because I'm getting this degree only to appease my parents. Anything that's not STEM isn't a "real job" to them. My passion is to work in either the fashion and modeling industries.

Gotta tell you,

Every degree or diploma you finish will work to your benefit. I did my justice one for similar reasons, but I can apply to this one school I want to do even though it isn't a science bachelor's... the fact that I finished the bachelors is all they want. For some manager or career positions, they'll be wanting to hire you for the fact you disciplined yourself to finish it.

You may end up assistant or full out director in fashion and modeling agencies... you never know Smile

That's Beautiful Man

Piano is a great instrument. I was a music major in high school and if I could do it over, I would've took up piano... In my opinion, you've learned one of the most universal and beautiful instruments. Great accomplishment buddy!

Nice deal man
My mom took that up when she was younger, but drove buses instead.

Truck drivers make a decent living, but just need to get a massage therapist (like me:) for that back... be sure you stay in good shape because of the prolonged driving and sitting bud Smile

yeah,

Some people actually just finish out quickly with a G.E.D and go right on to their vocation. I know school isn't for everyone; including me.
I push and made it for me and enslaved myself in something I didn't have a motivation for after a while.... meanwhile, I'm doing what I probably should've been doing 10+ years back... it's ok though.

These jobs made me that angry that I pushed that hard for the degree rather than the trade I was probably going to be more motivated in.

Props to you man, all that matters that you are content with what you do and make a good honest living.

.......you are doing something positive in this thread, so I wont come in here shining my normal "light of truth" on a few obvious delusional lies Ive perused. But its always good to ask for RECIEPTS when you do actual/factual topics like this. For Instance:

College Prepatory HSD
Bachelors of Science, Education minor Psychology (FAMU)
Soldiers Certification, Basic Training w/ expert shooter citation
Certification, Finance & Accounting

Oh ok, you're still working on yours.
yeah, I was a bit confused wondering if you already did pre-reqs for MD and are finally in Medical School. What kind of medicine is it?

Oh my,

Political Science.... is a harder one too in my opinion. Multitude of communication and psychology skill to get the mind thinking of the perfect debates and questions answered that are required to figure something out before presentation to argue a point. These guys are perfect for lawyers...

I respect the hell of Polly Sci Grads!! Congratulations man!
